Durham’s own Stormie Daie hosts the Nasher Museum’s first-ever drag queen fashion show! She and North Carolina performers Naomi Dix and Mx. Princexx Peritwinkle will take to the runway with original looks inspired by the exhibition Lyle Ashton Harris: Our first and last love and accompanied by DJ VSPRTN. Following the show, we will join the performers in the lecture hall for a panel discussion on drag queen culture. Cash bar featuring our glittery cocktail, the “Fortune Cookie.”

This event kicks off Thursdays at the Nasher, a series of free evening programs and events that showcase artists, scholars and other creatives. Programs include smart-phone poetry, sketching in the galleries, live music, film screenings, cash bars and more. We invite visitors of all ages to connect with art and enjoy the galleries until 9 PM. Learn more.

Want more than great fashion and cocktails? Make an early reservation for dinner at the Nasher Museum Café.
